Key Exploitable Results (KERs) are the most significant outputs of the RI-SCALE project – products, processes, knowledge, or services – that have clear potential for uptake, use, and impact beyond the project. KERs are designed to be actionable, stakeholder-focused, and impact-oriented, ensuring that our innovations can be effectively exploited by research infrastructures, industry, and other end users.
Key Exploitable Results

Our KERs
A flexible, interoperable platform that enables research infrastructures to manage, analyse, and share large-scale scientific data efficiently. Supports multiple domains and integrates with European e-infrastructures.
Advanced AI models and frameworks designed to process and extract insights from big data. Ready for deployment across research infrastructures to accelerate data-driven discoveries.
A tool to track and manage data and compute usage, ensuring fair allocation and transparency for users of shared e-infrastructure resources.
A central hub offering expertise, training, and resources to support scalable AI adoption across research infrastructures and projects.
A dedicated deployment of the Data Exploitation Platform tailored for the European Network for Earth System modelling (ENES), supporting climate and environmental research data management.
Customised platform deployment for EISCAT_3D, enabling efficient processing and exploitation of radar and atmospheric research data.
A domain-specific DEP for the Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure (BBMRI), optimising data management and analytics for biomedical research.
Tailored platform for Euro-BioImaging, supporting the integration, analysis, and sharing of complex imaging datasets across Europe.
Our Approach
RI-SCALE manages KERs through a structured process led by our innovation team. Each KER is overseen by a designated KER Ambassador, acting as the central contact point for all information and activities related to the result.
The Innovation Management is led by T6.5 represented by Innovation Mnaager Smitesh Jain (EGI Foundation).
Role of KER Ambassadors
KER Ambassadors:
-
Bridge the gap between technical outputs and their exploitation and dissemination.
-
Suggest improvements to KER documentation, promotional materials, and exploitation plans in collaboration with WP6 team members.
-
Support completion of KER-related documentation for the Horizon Results Platform and EC Funding Portal, ensuring compliance and visibility.
