Data Week 2026 is the spring gathering of Europe’s Big Data and Data-Driven AI research and innovation community. The event focuses on the theme: “Data Fjords: Unlocking AI for Industry and Society”, exploring how AI can create value from data while fostering collaboration across ecosystems, sectors, and stakeholders.
RI-SCALE is planning to contribute to this event through a proposed interactive workshop exploring how Data Exploitation Platforms (DEPs) and DataLabs provide the backbone for secure, scalable, and AI-ready data pipelines in Europe. The workshop proposal is currently under review as part of the Data Week 2026 call for workshops and contributions.
The two-day event will include keynote talks, interactive sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, bringing together research infrastructures, AI projects, industry actors, and policymakers.
